Dead

No, don't worry, I'm fine! I didn't die, and this isn't an informal post explaining that I died. No no no. I'm posting about MINECRAFT. So here's the thing;

We all love minecraft, but it's dead.

What I mean is. It was a rage long ago. It isn't anymore. 2 years pass and a lot changes. People really loved it, but it died down. What I'm saying is, you don't have to hate it, or not play it. I'm saying I won't be continuing the blog anymore. If someone comments and asks me to keep this blog alive, then I will, but I won't be doing it anymore. I may be doing five nights at freddys/2, so if you want that, comment and explain you want that. But I'm sorry, Minecraft is dead.

Guys, when I made this blog, I expected no one to look, to be invisible, to not have 300 people looking. And now, I leave them for 3 months and don't realize that they mean something; Every one of you looking at my blog, thank you. Hello! (note to self, find non-generic greeting to say)

TV is big these days, and it seems movie quality gets better and better, huh? Well Let's look at the Lego movie.

Caught every Lego fans attention

Overall great idea, huh? What about Minecraft? Notch tweeted the other day that they wanted to make a Minecraft movie... Quote:

"Someone is trying leak the fact that we're working with Warner Brothers on a potential Minecraft Movie, I wanted to be the leak!"

"It's for real, I think every part of that tweet was real, including me wanting to be the one to spill the news about a potential movie."

"It would be nice to tell people when it's 100 percent solid rather than to leak it before it's completely final," he added, "but our hands were a bit tied and rushed here."

Now we KNOW from his WORD that he may make a movie. But what proof? We do not know that yet. But if commercials and animation clips come from their way, we may get our hands on a potential movie. But until THEN, syl.

1.8, huh?

Well! If you know a thing or two about minecraft, you know they update ALOT. I mean it, literally. Alpha, beta, survival test, 1.0, Halloween update, adventure update, pretty scary update, etc. But 1.8 is going to be great! Here's why:

The modding API will be released with it!

Buttons on ceilings and floors!

New mob AI, now not so stupid!

Villager mechanics!

Command stuff!

Instead of: /give @p 137, it now is: /give @p minecraft:command_block!

Slime block!

Lots more to come, but we don't know. What would you like to see? Personally I'd like to see pressure plates on walls and ceilings! But until next time, syl!!!

HORRAY! Oh my gosh, guys, first: thanks for reading my blog, I am really sorry about having that couple-month break from blogging, and second: it isn't me that really does the work, it's you guys, the modders, animators, and hackers (the good ones) and I like to say: don't get too excited about 1.8, as it's just started, but...

New skin format

Hat lair on all of body (aka, having a second, bigger lair on the rest of your body.)

For a while, I have been too busy to get on to this blog, and I can't say enough to tell how long it has been. But, I WILL make sure to do it as often as I can. but anyway....

Minecraft 1.8 Prerelease:
new command addition: @e (entities, so if you type {/kill @e[r=50]} then you will remove every mob/entity in area.)

Slime blocks, 9 slimeballs to make one, also makes 9 slimeballs.

Locking chests and furnaces

Quartz and 2 other crystal-based blocks!
